Rev. Dr. David B. Garner
Introduction to Systematic Theology
Dr. David Garner holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina; a Master of Theology degree from Dallas Theological Seminary and a PhD from Westminster Theological Seminary. Dr. Garner is an ordained minister of the Presbyterian Church of America (PCA), has served as a teaching and preaching pastor at Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church, Pennsylvania until 2015 and has been a missionary to Bulgaria (2003-2007). He is Associate Professor of Systematic Theology at Westminster Theological Seminary (2007-present) and Vice President of Westminster Theological Seminary in the departments of Advancement (2015-present), Institutional Collaboration (2010-2012); Student Relations and Educational Advancement (2007-2008). He has been an adjunct professor at Geneva College (2007-2010) and Director of Theological Education for Eastern Europe (Sofia, Bulgaria, 2003-2007). Dr. Garner currently teaches Systematic Theology, Introduction to Theology, Doctrine of Man, Theology of Adoption, and the Westminster Standards. He also writes a column several times a month called Sine Qua Non, on the Place for Truth website.
