The primary objective of the STS Master of Theology program is to provide the student with the knowledge, training, and ministry tools necessary to be prepared to fulfill all the biblical requirements of a pastor and equipped for faithful and effective pastoral ministry, confronting all the challenges that face the work of God in the 21st century. At the same time, the secondary objective of this program is to provide essential training to men and women for the various ministries within the work of the gospel (education, counseling, youth ministry, missions, etc.).
SANTIAGO THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY
THEOLOGICAL AND PASTORAL PROGRAM:
OBJECTIVES AND CONCENTRATION:
- Preaching and teaching.
- Pastoral ministry and leadership
- Counseling or practical theology.
- Evangelism, missions, church planting and practical ministry.
MASTER
This program will last 4 years, comprising 20 subjects of 3 credit hours each, for a total of 60 credit hours.
STUDY METHODOLOGY:
- Each subject will be taught every two months.
- The first part of the studies will consist of readings prior to the first day of class.
- The second stage will consist of face-to-face classes (every 2 months) for 3 days:
- Thursday and Friday from 7:00 PM - 9:30 PM
- Saturday from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Modalidad completamente virtual.
- Local monitors or teachers will add an additional 10 hours of instruction and tutoring.
- Subsequent work will consist of:

- Written Essay
- Additional readings
- Final exam
- Research work or ministerial practice *(In some cases)
DISTRIBUCIÓN DE LA CARGA ACADÉMICA:
- Teachers' class: 40 %.
- Teaching and supervision of monitors: 30%.
- Assignments, written work, evaluations: 30%.
